Our Heritage
Samantha was born in Vietnam where her paternal great grandparents were in the diamond & jewelry business in Ba Ria-Vung Tau. Her most fondest and earliest memories of her beloved paternal grandmother was when she was 3-4 years old and her grandmother would take her to play in the hidden vault full of diamonds, rubies, emeralds, gold, and everything bling you can imagine. She loved being in there and having so much fun giggling and tossing around these cool stones with her grandmother. Shortly after, Samantha was smuggled out of Vietnam on a tiny fishing boat after the War to escape from Communist Rule with her mother penniless. After arriving in American, she worked picking strawberries, in canneries, at fast food chains, and anything else she could do. She worked hard to pay for college and law school. She never had any toys or nice things growing up so poor. This inspired a life long journey to help others and to uplift those around her. Samantha, more than anyone, knows what it's like to have absolutely nothing. It is this that inspires her to find beautiful affordable jewelry to share with others and the will to make things better. Sometimes, having just that one special piece of jewelry- a ring, bracelet, necklace, or earring, can make a person feel so special and give them a piece of beauty they can hold on to.
